Island Journeys is a magazine designed to promote domestic tourism within the U.K.  I believe it is important to have an understanding of where you come from before you travel further afield. Britain has so many spectacular views and such a rich history that you could spend your whole life exploring and still discover new experiences. The potential for domestic tourism needs to be celebrated; not only is it better for the environment but it saves the traveller money on flights, luggage and, if you are feeling really brave, camping is the perfect way to save on accommodation.
