As an artist I do not like waste. I like work that has a purpose. Work that has meaning or conveys information. It can be argued that all art has a purpose but I feel that some works are just generated to make as much money as possible and this is not what I feel art should be for. Art and design has the power to change the world and make a real difference to people’s lives and I feel that it is our responsibility as creators to use this power. Art and design can be a much more effective medium for communicating than words in some situations.

As an aspiring travel photographer and graphic designer I make it my mission to explore the world around me as much as possible. I have written blogs on my experiences abroad as well as at home, accompanied by photographs from these experiences. I am inspired by people who will do anything to get the perfect image, I believe in taking risks to put across a message. My motivation comes from exploring my surroundings and always looking for something new to experience and document.

I like to think that my photography tells a story; about a place, about a time, about a person. There is no specific topic that my work is based around, I prefer to take inspiration from my surroundings and document whatever I feel best communicates the experience of that place.
